At SVH we believe every pet deserves access to quality veterinary care, regardless of financial circumstances. That’s why we created the Angel Fund – a community-supported program dedicated to helping pets in need.
Our Mission We raise funds year-round to support two critical initiatives:
● Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Program – Helping control the local stray cat population through spay/neuter and vaccinations. By reducing overpopulation, we improve the health and well-being of community cats. Our doctors and veterinary nurses generously donate their time for these procedures, ensuring every dollar goes as far as possible. Our program has helped over 150 cats to-date.
● Emergency & Life-Saving Care – Assisting pet owners facing financial hardship when their pets require urgent medical treatment. Our goal is to provide compassionate care and prevent unnecessary suffering.
How We Raise Funds
The Angel Fund is entirely community-supported, where 100% of the proceeds go directly toward the Angel Fund. We host fun and engaging fundraisers throughout the year, including:
● Annual Community Garage Sale – Donate items, shop for a cause, and help local pets! Follow social media or watch your email for updates on event timing!
● Christmas Basket Raffle – We put together festive baskets filled with pet-themed items like homemade blankets, dog DNA tests, cat and dog toys, bandanas, pet treats, food products and more. Raffle tickets are available for purchase, and all proceeds benefit the Angel Fund.
● Valentine’s Day “Sponsor a Feral Cat” Event – Make a donation to sponsor a feral cat’s spay/neuter, and we’ll name them after your ex! A fun way to give back while having a laugh.
● Other Fundraising Events – Throughout the year, we hold additional donation drives and special events to support pets in need.
