1

Arrival

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and the receptionists will check in your pet. Following check-in at the front desk, you will be guided to a private examination room. On some occasion, if an examination room is currently unavailable, you will be provided with a seat in our waiting room. Should you need to be placed in our waiting room, it is our goal to limit this time and will do our best to provide you with the privacy of an examination room as quickly as possible.
2

Medical History

A technician will enter the examination room shortly after and will start by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition, and the reason for your visit. The technician will then continue with obtaining vitals of your pet, such as heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate. The technician will then exit the examination room and notify the veterinarian that you and your pet are ready.
3

Check Up

A veterinarian will fully examine your pet, ask you further questions, and make recommendations, such as diagnostics, if needed. A technician will be on hand to assist with the examination if needed.  Recommended tests can usually be done during the appointment with either same day results or sent to a referral laboratory.  The veterinarian will then discuss diagnostic results and a treatment plan, if warranted.

Questions

This is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you are completely comfortable with the information we are providing and that you fully understand your pets health and well-being. The veterinarian or technician will be able to provide you with helpful pet care information and answer wellness and care questions for you as well.  We are here to help, and it is our number one priority to provide the best care and information so that your pet can live a long and happy life.

Wrap Up

You will then be taken to our front desk where the staff will process your payment, provide you with any home treatments, and schedule any needed follow up.

Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times when the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible.
