Our doctors:

Leatha Bennett, DVM (Medical Director): A familiar face at our practice, Dr. Bennett joined the SVH team in 2014. She graduated from Colorado State University in 1994 and has worked with a variety of clinics around Idaho. With her knowledge and caring nature, she provides exceptional treatment and cares for all of her patients. She competes in horse competitions throughout the country and loves to trail ride. She also provides a loving and comforting home for her cat and dog.

MJ Mangiameli, DVM
Dr. MJ Mangiameli was born and raised in Whidbey Island, Washington. She loves doing anything outdoors, especially hiking, skiing, and picking wild mushroom in the mountains of Washington. She has a passion for exercise and loves to play soccer. She grew up within the walls a Veterinary clinic as she is a second-generation Veterinarian. Her best buddy is her Siamese mix, Pandora (AKA Pandorable), who loves to go explore the outdoors with her mom. She definitely lives up to her “Pandorable” name when she is wearing her harness and leash and going for hikes. Dr. Mangiameli graduated with her Veterinary degree in 2021. She is truly an incredible addition to Shelley Veterinary Hospital and is unparalleled in her drive for continuing education and doing everything possible to help each and every furrball she sees.
